We went to Gil’s K-9 for a Sunday Funday Brunch. Gil’s is a Boise institution that doesn’t take reservations, and Brunch runs 10am to 2pm. They are open 10am to 10pm every day, except Friday and Saturday when they stay open til 11pm.
We ordered mimosas to stand around while we waited for a table. The regulars were super friendly and made room for us near the bar.
The bunch menu is up on the wall, they erase things if they run out. Many people go to Gil’s K-9 for the prawn cocktail, which they do not serve on the weekends until after 1pm, so plan accordingly!
We split traditional eggs benedicts which was a good thing because the ham on them was an inch thick.
