Coa de Jima

Tour de Bubbles enjoyed a lovely brunch at Coa de Jima.  Barbacoa started this smaller concept restaurant in downtown Boise on Main between 6th and 7th Streets. Their brunch is served Saturday and Sunday and they bottomless mimosas for $15 per person. They bring the bottles and have juices on the side.

Reservations are recommended because it isn’t huge and fills up fast. The selections are “a taste of the Mexican Riveria” so expect Mexican and South American dishes- and like Barbacoa, they add so many extra details. Every dish can be served with lobster, prawns, scallops or bone marrow. There are six specialty eggs benedict – so tough to choose one!

The decor is over the top fantastic, with sculpture and artwork. The chandeliers are decidedly steampunk and the restrooms are Día De Los Muertos. Our table was so large/round we had a lazy susan in the center so the server could reach the back half.
