Homestead Bar and Grill

I am starting the Tour de-Bubbles blog as I want others who love Bubbles (Champagne, Prosecco and Sparkling Wines) to enjoy this Bubbles journey with me.  Let’s toast to loving Bubbles! Cheers!

My first Tour de-Bubbles stop was a Sunday Funday at the Homestead Bar & Grill in Meridian, Idaho.

Met some good friends there for brunch, which is  9am to 12pm both Saturday and Sunday. I would recommend going 9:30 to 10, no later than 10 to make sure you get a table.

The first things we ordered was, of course, mimosas!  Obviously not your ordinary mimosa…  this was called the “Mega Mimosa” and they serve it traditional style, with OJ. The Mega part is the size (3-4x the usual) and the beautiful fresh pineapple wheel with a strawberry and orange slice too.

I opted out of the buffet (that looked amazing) and went with the delicious flavored wings instead. My wings were split between sweet chili and “fire”. The fire wings were hot…  three out of four flames!

The place was busy, food was great, the drinks were amazing, and the service was impeccable.  Thank you, Dillon, for taking such good care of all of us!

I would recommend going there and will definitely be back.

Cheers to a great Sunday Funday!

On to my next Tour de-Bubbles Stop.

Ciao!
